This bathroom design transforms the space with a functional and stylish update. The brief was to maximize space, enhance
functionality and create a calm and cohesive aesthetic. The design introduces a tiled stud wall at two heights, which not only hides the
built-in storage unit but also allows natural light from the window to filter into the shower area. This feature can remain open or have
a glass panel fitted for additional privacy. To optimize headroom under the sloping ceiling, the low wall has been built out further,
creating valuable storage space. The toilet choice is a back-to-the-wall style, reducing dust traps and maintaining a sleek, modern look.
A concealed slimline cistern is tucked behind a tongue-and-groove (T&G) door, offering discreet yet accessible maintenance. The
shower enclosure is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing for either a hinged or sliding door depending on preference. Non-tiled
areas are painted in a soft, clean white, ensuring that key fixtures, including the toilet, towel rail, bath, and shower tray, blend
seamlessly into the space, resulting in a more open and tranquil feel. The T&G cladding adds texture and unifies the space with a
Scandi feel and the bold geometric tiles add colour and pattern. The combination is a fresh, stylish, timeless look with practicality in a
compact layout.
